School Day
School opens at 8:35am. Our school day runs from 8:45am to 3:15pm.
Registration is at 8:55am. Any children arriving after this time will be marked as late. Any children arriving after 9:25am will have an unauthorised mark recorded.
The total hours school is open for is 32.5 hours per week.
School Uniform
School uniform can be purchased from most major supermarkets. Branded items (containing the Hemington School logo) can be purchased from either of the two following suppliers:

Absence Requests
A reminder of our policy on absence requests is that no leave of absence in term time can be authorised unless it meets exceptional circumstances. If parents take children on holiday during term time, we act on the DfE guidance – If it is felt circumstances are not exceptional, there may be a fixed penalty fine issued by the local authority. Please take this under consideration when you are booking holidays.

Medicines
If your child needs to take medication during the school day, a medicine form must be completed and any medication that may be required brought to the school office. All medication must be named. Forms are available from your child’s class teacher and the school office.
